FAQS

What is a Blended Learning CPR/ AED Course?

Blended Learning combines online learning with an in-person skills session conducted by a Red Cross certified instructor. The blended learning course provides the same knowledge and skills as a traditional classroom course, in addition the blended learning online session offers the student a variety of elements to learn the program content including videos, lesson narration, special features and interactive learning segments. (In other words, the online session makes learning CPR fun and interactive!) Once the online session has been successfully completed, students will then practice their skills and are coached by an instructor during an in-person skills session.)

I’ve always taken my CPR Courses in a classroom, is Blended Learning really the same?

As far as the course content and what you will learn during the course, Yes you will learn the exact same information whether you take a traditional course in a classroom setting or through Blended Learning. Blended learning simply takes the lecture segments and initial introduction to CPR and puts it in an online format so you can learn at your own pace and in a location of your choosing. The in person skill sessions are the same for both traditional and blended learning courses.
