Blended Learning
Blended learning is an immersive educational experience that combines online learning with an in-person, hands-on skills practice and testing session. This means you gain the same knowledge and life savings skills as you would in a traditional classroom course but with more flexibility, convenience, and in less time! (The online portion of the Adult CPR/AED Blended Learning Course can be completed in as little as 65 minutes. The in-person hands-on skills session is approximately 30 minutes long for a total of 1 hour and 35 min for the entire blended learning course.) The same traditional Adult CPR/AED classroom course is 2.5 hours long. Both courses earn you an American Red Cross Adult CPR/AED Certification valid for 2 years.
The online portion of the Blended Learning Course must be taken on a PC or tablet with a high-speed Internet connection and must be completed prior to attending the in-person skills session.
After enrolling in a Blended Learning Course, you will receive a confirmation email that includes a link for you to register and securely access the online portion of the blended learning course. Bring a copy or screenshot of the course completion certificate with you on the date of your in-person skills session.
